San Diego Fencing Center
Fencing has been practiced for centuries. Originally geared for combat, it is now staged for Olympic gold. The sport of fencing develops quick thinking, poise, agility and speed, but most importantly, it is safe and fun. Fencing is a lifetime sport, equally suitable for men and women, children and adults.
San Diego Fencing Center, under the direction of Head Coach Saul Mendoza, offers a range of fencing classes for children, young teens and adults in all three weapons. Saul has been coaching in the United States since 1988. He competed in the 1984 Olympic Games in foil and epee and trains all levels of students; from beginner to international competitor.
